DTV: Studio and Production
Seniors of FILM Academy are the students who get to create awesome episodes of Diamondback Television. You will learn how to complete multiple tasks in the studio and how to use equipment knowledgeably and safely. We use a rotation schedule in the first quarter to ensure all students have a chance to try out every individual production team. These include Graphics and Marketing, Website and Social Media, Photographers, and Production in the studio. The biggest teams are Graphics and Marketing and Production.

Inside Diamondback Television, students receive so much more than an ordinary education. We pride ourselves on creating a unique, exciting environment that embraces all types of learners and promotes growth both academically and personally.
DTV is a broadcasted show run by the Film Academy Seniors for Serrano High School. Our senior students give you the latest updates on what Serrano has to offer. The students get the opportunity to participate in Television industry jobs, which will prepare them for future projects.

We strive to better our students through educational experiences both in and out of the classroom. The mission of Diamondback Television is to create a place where students feel safe to tackle obstacles and accomplish all of their goals while also being able to film, photograph and produce a real-life news channel. We offer a variety of opportunities to help students be the best version of themselves, while having tons of fun along the way.
