Serrano’s Restaurant
Management program pre- pares students for careers
in the food service industry: restaurants, hotels, clubs, colleges, retirement homes, hospitals, and industrial food services are a few
areas of employment op- tions. Hands-on, practical experience with basic food preparation and techniques, nutrition, sanitation, management, accounting, and safety is the foundation of the course. In addition, creativity, innovation, and team concepts are strongly encouraged.
Locally and regionally pro-
jected casinos, hotels, and national chain restaurants will increase employment opportunities for local grad- uates. Serrano’s Restaurant Management Pathway has culinary and baking compe- tition teams and profession- al catering crews participat- ing and working in events throughout the year.
